Our top 6 reasons to visit Filey in Autumn and Winter!

Sorry that we haven't posted anything in a while, we set out with good intentions in the New Year to keep this blog going throughout the year but life (and boring work) has got in the way and 6 months down the line we don't seem to have found a minute to write a thing, until now!  We have thoroughly enjoyed the warmer weather and the lighter nights however we are fully ready to embrace whatever the autumn and winter months bring. With this in mind this month's blog is our top 6 reasons to visit Filey in Autumn and Winter.  So get the fire on, make yourself a cup of tea and enjoy......

1) THE BEACH

Obviously the beach is a big draw for anyone visiting Filey but there's nothing better than getting wrapped up and going for a long walk on the beach.  Unlike going for a walk in the countryside it doesn't matter what the weather is doing, you are not going to have to battle with mud, ice or snow to enjoy a long winter walk.

2) DOGGIE FREEDOM

Still on the subject of the beach, all your four legged friends are welcome on the full length of the beach from 1 October until 1 May - waggy tails all round

3) PARKING

For some the most important but getting a park on the seafront in low season is a doddle compared to the summer months!

4) SUNRISE

As the morning's get later you often get a more dramatic sunrise - and you don't have to set your alarm to witness it!

5) PEOPLE WATCHING

If the weather is rubbish and you just want to hibernate then the bay window in the living room is the perfect place for watching the world go by.

6) PRICE

Did you know that you can stay in our low season for as little as £290 per week (that works out at less than £7 per person per night based on 6 people sharing!) so what are you waiting for book your low season break today.
